Description
Chalco Hills Recreation Area
We don't usually get a lot of reds in Omaha, but we do get yellows and golds! This has been one of the prettiest falls in the midwest! To me this is a perfect fall picture right in my backyard!
Chalco Hills Recreation Area. With the 245-acre Wehrspann Lake and easy access to the extensive Omaha Metro Trails System, Chalco Hills Recreation Area at the Interstate 80/Highway 50 junction offers outdoor fun for the whole family.
Chalco Hills Trails is a 6 mile loop trail located near Omaha, Nebraska that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

I am soooooo ready for fall!!! Actually, we could skip fall and go straight to winter, but I'd hate to miss the opportunity to see a scene as lovely as the one you captured here. It is gorgeous, Elizabeth!!! L/F
