My daughter and I went down to see the trees as they were starting to turn their fall colors. As we went by the old fish hatchery we noticed a heron hunting in the ponds. It let us walk within 50 feet, closest I have ever been.

I love this picture because of the colors of the trees in the background and the reflections in the pond.

It was starting to get dark and cold so my daughter insisted we leave. Wonder how long it staid and hunted in the old fish hatchery ponds.
